Mission Mode: 1 Character (Bronze Trophy)Ĭlear the story missions from Mission Mode with one of the pilots, see “Mission Mode: All Characters” for a full list of pilots and how to unlock them all. Official Mode: 1 Character (Bronze Trophy)Ĭlear Official Mode with one of the characters, see “Official Mode: All Characters” for all pilots in this mode. Last note, most of the trophies for this game will only ding after you have saved your game when all the requirements are met, just keep that in mind and happy gaming! If you have any questions feel free to PM me or post and we’ll help you out. Experiment and learn is the key to figuring out what’s best, same with the part enhancers, just get your mobile suit lab to level 10 so you can apply the best ones to your gundams depending on your build. The main thing is you have to get a good feel for what skills help more in certain situations, like Small Giant does tremendous extra damage to Mobile Armors or Instant Hero which makes the weaker, 2nd and 3rd tier mobile suits are way more effective. This is by far the most indepth Dynasty Warriors game to date and as such will take some time to complete it all but I hope this will help keep you on track as you head down the road to platinum. If you can find each other in ranked play you could boost your ace points but it’s rather easy to do even without it. In a ranked War Mode match with 2 players and win being first to a 1000+ score you earn around 50 ace points, also even if you lose with some score you should still earn about 20 ace points. You can do this anytime you want, only thing is that the gundam strengths are shared between all modes so you’re stronger when closer to max stats. See “All Missions Cleared” for what you may be missing and as a checklist. As you unlock more playables, complete their story missions, continue on until they’re all or very nearly done and start to focus on the non cleared missions as you go. Work on your main pilot for your all skills, all licenses”, all friendships and playable pilots. I would recommend using Paptimus Scirocco as your main pilot as he has one of the hardest exclusive missions to unlock. It should only take you a couple hrs to beat all 6 pilots missions and if you want to get both endings from the original 4 at the same time, see “Movie Gallery Complete” for special requirements to complete the last mission of each pilot both ways. Play through all the missions from each of the pilots half dozen or so story missions in any order you wish, starting here you’ll at least be shown how to fight the Mobile Armors properly instead of me dying a few times not knowing about the charge attacks at first. I’ll give you an idea of how to best use your time if you’re gunning for platinum real quick but by no means the only way. Difficulty doesn’t matter if the option is there, only if it’s greyed out for certain missions you’ll have to do some on hard but I’d leave those until close to the end. This isn’t one of those games I would recommend you rent if you’re trying to get platinum unless it’s via one of the no due date subscriptions (Blockbuster, Gamefly, etc.) as you won’t get it in a week and requires a full 2 weeks of constantly playing to even make it within 2 weeks. It has 3 modes to play from, an Official Mode, with 4 pilots going through story based missions (2 twice), Mission Mode, which you’ll play the bulk of the missions here with over 350 missions and a Versus Mode (PSN underneath for online) with 3 easy trophies. Savor it while it lasts.Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 150 hoursĭynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 is quite easily the most indepth Dynasty Warriors game to date, from any generation. Gundam 3 still stumbles in bafflingly silly ways, but for the first time in a while, the thrill of singlehandedly charging into battle against hundreds of enemies has a flickering spark again. Yet the light tweaks and enhancements – plus giant robots and an attractive new cel-shaded look – really make the repetition a lot more enjoyable than expected. It even includes 15 exclusively online four-player co-op missions, which seems like a great idea, but the network battlefields are strangely barren compared to the solo ops, which really drains a lot of the fun out of the equation.ĭynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 is still very much a Dynasty Warriors game, warts and all. In addition to the dozens of story missions, the game also includes relationship missions, friendship missions, challenge missions, memorial missions, and many more, all of which hold the key to finding further mobile suits and upgrades. Gundam 3's narrative is just window dressing for the combat – all the pilots from the various Gundam series are summoned into a dimensional void and nobody knows why – but if you're looking for an endless grind, you've got it.
